The Barbarian Hero By Adam Rogers
Awaking in a cold sweat , Zarose looks to see his home in a burning ruin. ... He asks the barbarian elder if there was any sign of the necromancers (mage of the undead) Lugash , and his companion Sentaros who have been roaming the barbarian highlands destroying villages. The barbarian elder tells Zarose that if he was to stay here he would surely die by the hands of the necromancers. ... Upon leaving the barbarian elder gives Zarose a magical armor that has been passed down in the village to great warriors. ... Being a barbarian, Zarose couldn’t think of ever fighting like that but maybe it’s much stronger than he thinks. ...
“My my, what would a barbarian be doing all the way down here? ... ”
“Well, aren’t we the smart barbarian? ... After telling Kitarak their quest to kill Lugash and Sentaros, Kitarak agrees that the two have to be dealt with, but someone as holy as Kitarak couldn’t be seen with a barbarian and a discharged paladin, but said that he’d speak with the high priests of the church and if they would allow Kitarak to help Zarose and Zandoss kill the necromancers, then he would help them. Hearing this, Zarose and Zandoss travel back to the barbarian highlands to try and find the necromancers. ... You’re a barbarian, do you know of anywhere we could camp without being stopped? ... ”
“Hahahahahahahahaha a barbarian kill me? ...
“I know I’m going to die, there’s no way of talking a barbarian out of killing something, but I will let you know that Lugash has gotten away, he can still summon me from beyond the grave.
