Shine
There are many principles by which I strive to live. I am frequently reminding myself to be joyful always, to be strong and courageous, and not to be ashamed of the faith that I proclaim. I have found it rather difficult to choose exactly one, but after much thought I realized that my philosophy of life is to let others know that Jesus Christ lives within me or more simply to shine. I do this by allowing Christ to flow through every aspect of my life and attempting to imitate Him in everything that I do. I realize that this is not always attained, but it is my goal.
I believe that when I act as a servant, others have the clearest view of Jesus living through me. I do not hesitate to help anyone who is in need, if it is possible for me to do so. I am known as the student who will give others lunch money, help with homework, and just listen when someone needs to talk. This, however, is not always enough. In order to shine, I must also speak about my faith in God and practice my religion openly...
