Music Education in general has never been a field of interest all my life. I started playing the piano about four years ago at St. Edward's University. And ever since then my love and appreciation for music has grown exponential. At my local church in Austin I'm a youth staff worker and I work with the kids in my youth group. Since becoming a youth staff worker about a year ago I've realized how much I love working and being a positive influence in their lives.
In the four years that I have been playing the piano a number of different people have come up to me and have recommended that I go to school for music. I've always felt that they really didn't know what there were talking about and besides I knew I was not good enough at the piano and I was lacking in a lot of areas dealing with music.
However it was not until I started taking private piano lessons from Dr. Woosley- a professor at Texas State, the past two years that my eyes were opened to an entirely different career...
