Racism started around the time when the English settlers gathered slaves from
Africa and many other areas around the world. The meaning of racism is discrimination
by people who believe that their ethnic background is better than every one else's.
Many of these English people were racist against a lot of colored people like
Africans and Native Americans. They took the Africans against their will and turned
them in to money producing slaves. They also burned down the Native Americans home
and forced them to move from the area, which the Native Americans have been living in
far before the English even set foot on what we call America today. The Africans and the
Native Americans were living a good life until the English came and ruined many thing
for them. These people did not know that they were put in categories based on their
physical features. The Africans and The native Americans did not have much of an
education but they were living their lives in peace and they learned how to survive and
provide for their love ones.
Families were separated because the English needed to sell slaves to produce
money. Many slave owners did not care much about the slaves, they just wanted to
