CANCER
Cancer is a large group of diseases. It is comprised of two common factors. The first one is
the growth and division of cells. The second factor is the cells ability to spread throughout the
body. The body is constantly replacing cells. Most of the body's genes contain protein. It is the
protein that is mainly responsible for the body's cell growth. A mutation in the DNA cell can
give away to defective proteins. This produces a vast number of irregular cells. Under optimum
conditions, the body's immune system can differentiate between the healthy and the abnormal
