racism in huck finn

A lot of people don't think that there is any racism in Huckleberry Finn but for some that do think there is have banned the book in their states. I believe there is some issues of racism in this book, I will be discussing some of them to you. In the book Jim seems to only have a IQ of a 12 year old. Im pretty sure that all the slaves back then wernt like that. Jim acts like he dumb I guess you could say. Mark Twain stereotypes Jim as a dumb slave, that all slaves are dumb or like kids. The story of the witch that Jim talks about, when ever he meets a new black person and he tells the story he stretches it out so much and changes it around. Little kids do that, Twain wanted to show Jim as childish it seems. A critic Jane Smiley says
