Analysis:
a) Sequence C was the beginning fragment. I knew this because sequence C started with the codon AUG, or methionine, which is basically the universal "start" codon.
b) Sequence B was the end fragment. I knew this because sequence C ended with the codon UGA with is one of 3 stop codons.
c) Spliceosomes are the enzyme responsible for the "cutting" during excising.
d) This protein contains 28 amino acids; however, only 27 are present on my list. This is because UGA simply stops the process, and is not a part of the protein.
