In chemistry you have to have balanced equations or it will not work and it will be wrong. For example; H4 + Fe4 H4Fe4 <--- this is a balanced equation. The laws of balancing equations: -Conversattion of Matter. -You can add large numbers (6C2) to increase the number of the molecules.; 4H2+ 2FE2 -> H8FE4 -You can’t change molecules The periodic table: Li- Na- K- Rb = These are the columns in the periodic table that go down. B- C- N- O- F = These are the rows of the periodic table, also known as periods that are on the top of the periodic table What does inside the boxes mean? The boxes represent different elements. The letter represents the element. For example, the letters FE, means the element Iron. There is also two different numbers in the boxes. The number over the element symbol is the atomic mass number of the protons and neutrons. The number at the bottom is the atomic number. Atomic Number is the number of protons+ and the electrons— Periods are how many kjells one element has and groups are the number of electrons in the outer kjell. How to know how many neutrons there are you take protons minus atomic mass. There are equal amounts of protons as electrons. The noble gases, which are the ones up in the right corner, are full outside the kjell Atom The first idea of how an atom is was the Rutherford Model.
