In the old days, people used to concentrate on the censorship of books, plays, films, televisions, radio programs, and news reports or anything that can be considered offensive to people. At the present time, attention is paying attention on the censorship of the Internet. Those who say that the Internet should be censored are mostly parents who care about their children's well being. Moreover, those who are against it are mostly teenagers who like to surf illegal sites. Even though the Internet can advantage children and allows freedom of speech, the Internet should be censored because it contains harmful information and freedom of speech can be offensive
People have different views, some people agree with censoring pornography and free speech and others do not. The amount of pornography on the Internet is becoming very huge day by day because of those immature teenagers and adults that are posting it. People that do not agree with censorship are mostly teenagers that feel the Internet is a place where people should have their freedom. In my opinion, I feel that the Internet should be censored in order to protect our society. Many search services have announced that in the future
they would only allow materials that have a specific rating. In addition, the ISP's also said that they would withdraw Internet connection from anyone offering pornographic material...
