Deforestation, a Worldwide Problem
Deforestation is a serious issue that affects every living organism on earth, and unless it is regulated, all living things on earth will die. The world's rain forest once covered 1.6 billion hectares. In places like, Latin and South America, Africa, Madagascar, and Indonesia. (Smithsonian Institution). The affects of deforestation on earth can be catastrophic. The loss of biodiversity would have the biggest affect. There are many different plants and animal species that we haven't even discovered yet. But all is not lost, if we can help under developed and third world countries economic situation so they don't have to depend on the forest for survival the rain forests can we saved.
