Genetic Engineering
Genetic Engineering is a laboratory technique used by scientists to change the DNA of living organisms. Scientists do this by first, isolating the DNA so they can get the gene they want. Then, they take a plasmid from bacteria and mix it with the DNA, and then they place the mixture in a bacterial cell where it reproduces as part of the cell's DNA. The Cell can then be removed and extracted for human use. The main question about Genetic Engineering however is, Is Genetic Engineering safe? The answer is yes, and no. There are positive sides to GE and there are negative sides to it.
