Electra the Grieving Daughter of Zeus
The Greeks, pt. 2 was performed at the Campus Theatre in CSUN on May 2, 2004. Electra is the daughter of Zeus that is in grief because of the murder of his father. Knowing that her mother was the one responsible for his death, Electra vows justice by means of eye for an eye making sure her mother pays the price for her gruesome wrongdoing. Three themes that were highly embodied in this play were infidelity, love, and revenge.
The play in general was a success. The acting for one part left the audience with a feeling of reality, highly because of the great training these actors have received. Another great aspect I found highly effective towards the success of this production was the work offstage. The lighting, sound effects, and music inserted depth of emotion to the climatic branches of the play.
All ten elements of a scene were clear and well played out In my opinion, the acting was done with quality ...
