Problem #1: Beaverville
Over the past one hundred years beavers have had to make a steady come back from near extinction. Beavers create necessary wetlands for many animals in the United States, and nearly half of the endangered and threatened species in North America live and thrive in the wetlands created by beavers. Therefore there is only one option that is relevant when it comes to trying to deal with beavers, and that is to coincide peacefully and let the beavers live.
Beavers have an uncanny ability to problem solve and have the ability of "conscious" thinking. Beavers only reproduce once a year, and are able to slow breeding when their populations are growing too large. Therefore beavers are very good at keeping their numbers down, and at maintaining a balance with nature. Beaver's ability to change the landscape is only second to humans. Beavers build "lodges" to keep themselves safe from predators, protect their young from harm, and to protect themselves from the elements during the winter months.
