Today, I read an article "Canada's Brain Gain" on Macleans magazine. There are several sentences I like: "Canada's story is one of people coming, leaving and returning. More than any other country in the world, Canada consists of individuals who, for their own reasons, might have decided to live somewhere else, but instead chose make Canada their home." These sentences remind me the first day I reached Canada.
When I first arrived in Canada, the first stop was Vancouver. I had to wait at the airport for the next flight, so I looked for a seat to make myself comfortable. After I had been sitting there awhile, I suddenly became aware of something unusual. People were everywhereall kinds of peoplein such a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes! Black and white, brown and olive faces were framed by hair-styles of every cut, color, and length. Some people were amazingly tall; others were short even by Asian standards...
