What makes a good anthology of war poetry? In my opinion, I think a good anothology of war poetry should include details of the war. It should include poems that explain the emotions of the soldier during and after fighting in the war. Of course, not all poems will include all the details and topics of war, but each poem should should explain it's topic well.
In these poems each author should use the poem to express their inner feelings and mental states of war if they had experienced it. The poems are used to reach out to people since the soldiers can't speak to others about it because those who had not been through the same experiences as they did would not understand. Each poet should use various poetic devices and techniques in their poems to create vivid images to show readers the true facts of the war.
The poems should portray the attitudes towards war. The author's ideas and thoughts should be strongly expressed reflecting some causes of the war, the events, relationships, emotions, violence, and etc. And besides explaining the war and soldiers themselves, the poems should also mention their lives outisde of the trenches/war...
