MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT ISLAM
There are many misconceptions regarding the Islamic Faith, since most of us don't tell others what we really know or the facts about Islam. There are three major misconceptions that Christianity relates to the Islamic beliefs. The word Islam means peace and submission to the wills of God, and Muslims are those who submit to the wills of God and obey His commandments no matter how small it is. I read both the Bible and the Koran in my childhood and one thing I found and still exists it that some verses, or chapter's in the Bible are being updated for a new editions, modified or somewhat changed periodically, whereas the Koran remains the same as it was revealed fifteen Century ago without the changing of even a "dot". It's quite amazing to be standing for that long without any manipulation. It is in fact imitable.
The first misconception concerns God. Some Christians say Muslims have their own God called Allah. The fact is that when we talk about the creator and the sustainer of the universe, that God is the same God, the God Muslims worship is the creator and the sustainer of the universe. The name Allah is an Arabic word which means the one and the only God whom alone deserves to be worshipped, since the word Allah can't be used for any other created things like the other names of God, like the almighty dollar, or my father is the greatest...
