Latest Grant Programs
The Delaware Estuary Grants Program provides grants organizations working to restore living resources and water quality in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, three states that share the land and water in the 6,700-square mile Delaware Estuary. The Grants Program is designed to encourage stewardship in local watersheds working on projects that improve the health of the entire Estuary.
The Nature of Learning is a community-based conservation education initiative that uses National Wildlife Refuges as outdoor classrooms and enhances natural resource stewardship in the community.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: The Sea Turtle Conservation - Fishing Gear Mini-Grants Program will fund projects that have a strong likelihood of reducing death and/or serious injury to sea turtles due to entanglements in and impingements on pound net leaders in Virginia and are consistent with applicable regulations pertaining to the Magnuson-Stevens Act, Endangered Species Act, and the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

Richard Guadagno, 38, was the manager of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge on the coast of northern California and was a passenger aboard the hijacked United Airlines Flight #93 that crashed in western Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. Rich worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 17 years, serving at agency offices and refuges in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Oregon, and California.
