Othello
Othello is a play that is about revenge. This story shows how hatred and resentment can result in extreme consequences. In the end of the story a lot of people die because of one person's hatred. The important story elements in Othello are characters, conflict, theme, and main idea.
Othello is the leading role and the hero of the play. He is the general of the armies of Venice; He is also a very powerful figure that is respected by everyone around him. Desdemona and Othello are secretly married before the play even begins. Brabanzio is Desdemona's father and a friend of Othello. Brabanzio feels betrayed when Othello marries his daughter in secrete.
