Discrimination tears apart families as well as nations. Often the littlest things can be done to prevent such devastating tragedies. Discrimination was found in Picture Bride from the white men towards the Japanese people. They kicked them out of their homes and the land they have worked hard to live on. They could not own land, they could only rent it.
People often discriminate against each other by using words and hateful terms. Many words which will not be mentioned in this essay are very hateful to the opposing race. Discrimination has lead to many deaths and random acts of violence against other races. One race is not to blame for this as we all discriminate everyday in our life against one or another.
