In my adolescent years in Russia I wasn't inclined to any specific genre of music, it is
where I came to US, I discovered a fondness for rock music and, particularly, a band called
"Metallica". Maybe it's the their ability to make the most brilliant sound with their instruments
or the their always deep and meaningful lyrics, that had such an important effect on me, but I
joined the legions of their fans all over the world, forever.
"Metallica" revolutionized heavy metal music and influenced many other bands. The band
was established in 1982 and throughout the years received numerous awards, collaborated with a
symphony orchestra and performed hundreds of live concerts all over the planet. When they
start crunching and chugging, it sounds like total devastation. When they kick their guitar riffs
into high gear, it is a blast of pure, raw energy straight into the heart. A single guitar riff and then
a sudden blast of all the instruments coming through like a heavy freight train. Start and stops,
like throwing punches. The rhythm of a fight. It's not possible to describe the sheer brilliance of
their music until you listen to it...
