Did you happen to catch the JL King special on Oprah Winfrey's Show? It was about men "living on the down low," secretly having sex with men but in relationships and married to women. Mr. King was one of those men until his wife caught him in the act. Mr. King holds presentations and workshops for these types of men, how women can protect themselves, how women can identify and uncover these men, and HIV/AIDS prevention.
This was interesting to me because it makes me think about several topics relating to sex. First of all, it makes me wonder about the men who are living these 'down low lives' and the women they are with. It doesn't matter about the 'down low life' to me because be it a man or a woman, if you are in any type of romantic relationship and having sex outside of that it is cheating. I do not discriminate against gay or bisexual men and women, but as an African American woman I would not want to take part in finding out that my boyfriend is having sex with men behind my back...
