The United States, which happens to be a capitalist country, has proved to be one of them most economically and socially prosperous countries ever since it was originated. Most countries that have had other systems such as socialism, and communism have suffered economic and political downfall. With the "survival of the fittest" capitalist society of the United States, among other countries, businesses have been able to rise from nothing to something and from poor to rich, without the government stopping them. A capitalist system is a working system that benefits society more than other systems. Though, socialism may be used in some successful countries, capitalism works and is a much better system.
Socialism has been a system that has not shown much success in past years, showing that capitalism is better. Both systems have their negatives and positives but one seems to work better than the other. In a socialist economy, the government has control over production and economic activity, but the workers themselves decide what to produce, where to produce it, how much to produce, and how to distribute the product fairly for the benefit of everyone. A socialist country would not let one business rise above the rest, tearing down economic giants so smaller businesses will not suffer. Socialism promotes everyone being at the same level which leads nobody to be rich and everyone to be poor...
