Life or Death, It Is Your Choice
There is an abundance of problems that people have to face in life. The majority of the time the problem is a dilemma, where you have to choose between two decisions that are equally hard to do. In the play, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, John Proctor faces a large dilemma. He will have to choose whether he lives or dies. I have had a real life experience almost equal to Proctor's. John Proctor and I have had to face the biggest dilemma ever, and we both came out of it happy.
John Proctor made a bold decision to end his life in order to keep the respect of his friends and to keep his name gold finished. He showed his friends and fellow prisoners that you should not lie to God and tarnish your name just to satisfy some insignificant people and keep your life. Not only did Proctor make a bold decision, he made a bold statement about the situation, "Because it is my name! Because I cannot have another one in my life...
