Eminem, born as Marshall Bruce Mathers III, was born in Kansas City, Missouri. His mother was a known "crack head" and also was believed to have used many other drugs as well. Marshall has accused her of physical abuse in addition to drug abuse. His father was never around, and left Marshall and his mother when he was only an infant. Marshall had a troubled childhood living in various states before moving to Detroit when he was 12. Eminem and his mother have always had a very rocky relationship, but their relationship became even worse soon after he became a famous rapper and started letting his frustration out through song. She later would file a lawsuit for defamation of character for her son's lyrics in his songs. Eminem has talked about killing her in a number of his songs such as "Cleaning out my Closet." Marshall blames her for never being there for him and his little brother and he has never forgiven her for what she done to them. And in order to release his tension and anger he started rapping...
