Halite
Halite is a mineral crystal that can easily be distinguished from its taste. ...
Halite is better known as a rock salt. Halite is also found in current evaporation deposits such has Salt lake city, Utah and near the sealers lake California in the United states, where it crystallizes out of evaporating brine lakes. Halite was also found in ancient bedrock all over the world where large extinct salt lakes and seas have evaporated millions of years ago. Cities in Cleveland and Detroit rest above huge Halite deposits that are mined for salt.
