ENGLISH NARRATIVE
A gentle breeze rustled the leaves on an aging oak tree, as a small group of birds raced to nestle on its broad strong branches. The shrill chatter of the young swallows broke over the tranquil sound of water dribbling through the moist creek bed. Two children frolicked among the knee-high fields of green and gold, and a dog yelped along behind them, chasing after their dancing feet.
"What are you doing, Matt? Get off that thing right now! You're meant to be working!" I jumped out of my chair as someone pulled the plug on my VM and tossed it to the ground. The serene wonderland disappeared before me and I was dragged back into the real world.
It was Carl, the captain of our maintenance crew. He had a dark patch of perspiration across his top and gave me a red-faced glare as I packed the machine back into its box...
