The Economical, Social and Political Motives in the Founding of America
With as many events as America has gone through, it is still fairly new nation in comparison with all the many other nations in the world. Although Native Americans were in America first, it is still thought by many that Christopher Columbus was the man who discovered America. With him he brought many things, some good but also numerous bad. As time carried on, many lives dared to venture to the new world in hope of making a success of themselves. Each new day, America was getting closer and closer to becoming a strong new nation. When founding America, the numerous reasons that pushed the idea of forming a new nation can be categorized into the groups of economic, political, and social reasons.
When Columbus set sail in 1492, one of his large goals of the trip was to find new markets and all kinds of objects to make money off of. In doing so, his greed and need of fame and fortune led him to a brand new unknown land. The reason the Queen and King of Spain had allowed Christopher Columbus to sail in search of a new trade route and new riches was to help benefit their selves also. Centuries later, during the time the colonies were under British power, colonists were used as money factories because if Britain's economy needed help, parliament would just call for another random tax to be put upon the American people, obviously angering them a good amount...
