MAN CAN BE DESTROYED BUT NOT DEFEATED
I am a man and
The fast moving winds cannot make me tremble as I have swallowed the floods of emotions
The strength of seas cannot challenge me as I have already shown them my eyes
The loneliness of path cannot scare me as I have left my destination behind
The redness of blood cannot make me shiver as I have seen the color of hatred
The darkness of grave cannot haunt me as I have seen the darkness of minds
I can be destroyed but I can never be defeated.
Mr. President, man is destined to rule this world. He encounters brutality, cruelty, apathy and sadness and still he does not collapse. He fights his way to his destination because he has an unquenchable thirst to do something extraordinary, he will have to live and die again live, again die and after living he will die for his noble cause and turn this world into paradise.
Mr. President, let me show you some men who were destroyed but were never defeated. On that day they were physically shattered but their spirits still live.
