In our society today, drug abuse is becoming very popular, but is a terrible problem. Many young kids start out using drugs thinking that it is the "cool" thing to do. What they don't understand is that it becomes addictive and starts controlling their life. It will make you lie, cheat, steal, and do many other horrible things just so you can get that next high. Drugs impair your speech, appearance, brain, and your ability to tell right from wrong. It eventually kills every function in your body and you die. It seems very harsh, but it is very true.
Abusing drugs make you lose a lot in life. People lose their jobs, homes, families, and friends. Younger people who are abusing drugs lose their education because they don't finish their schooling...
