I found the paper to be very interesting and informative. I really agree with the statement-"Our supreme purpose in life is not to make a fortune, not to pursue pleasure, nor to write our name on history, but to discover the spark of the divine that is in our hearts." I believe that it means to look deep inside your heart and body and realize that you have to know yourself and who you are and see that your pleasure and happiness in life lies within your inner self. Then it goes on to talk about how this divinity within us is one and the same in all. All is being referred to everyone meaning all individuals, all creatures, and all of life.
Then it goes onto to talk about "mysticism" and the selfless one. This type a person is the one who has made the divine a reality and can find reality in every moment and everything that they say or do. They talk about how the signs of this person are clear. Some of the signs are: fearlessness, unfailing compassion, and equanimity all these are being based on personal experience. These are rather demanding criteria, and it mentions that only a few people in history have met them...
