Alfred Eisenstaedt is a world renown photographer of photo journalism. Though his name may not ring many bells his photographs do. His photographs have been featured in various magazines and capture life in a beautiful and simplistic way. Throughout the years Alfred's photographs have chronicled crucial parts of history. He has been given many titles such as the "Father of photo journalism" and "Preeminent master of Candid photograph."
Alfred Eisenstaedt was born in Germany in 1898. As a young boy he developed a passion for photography when he received his first camera the Eastman Kodak Folding Camera. From that day forward Alfred would take pictures where ever he would go. In the 1920's and 30's he created many photo essays while living in Berlin.
