What influence does exposure to violent imagery in the media have on child or adult behaviour?
Should violence scenes in movies be censured? Discuss.
We are living in a multimedia society. TV, newspaper, internet and radio are very important in our daily life. But most of the news and daily TV programms contain violent scenes. Either images of the war in Iraq or of students infringing other students at vocational schools or "fictional violence" shown in thrillers and mangas. Of course journalists do insist on the freedom of the press and the need of reporting every aspects of crime. As well every person does have the ability to choose whether they want to watch it or not. But what about children?..
