Gender stereotypes have become a great part of our lives. We don't give much thought to the stereotypes that exist concerning gender because some stereotypes have become part of a social norm, for example, we expect man to be doctors and women to be nurses. We have all heard stereotypes such as man are better in math than women, the reality is that most of the stereotypes we hear about women are not accurate. Women are not smarter or less intelligent than men. Women are capable of attaining as much success as men do. We don't see a lot of achievement in women due to all the stereotypes society has placed on them. To society women are good for cooking, cleaning, taking care of the children and being a wife. It is true that women have been mothers, friends, and wives. Women have been able to keep the unity, love, and harmony in the family. Women have been viewed as the core of the family but it does not mean that this is all they are good for...
