Racism
Racism is the belief that some people are better than others are, because of their race, religion, and class. One may ask, "Is a person born a racist? Is racial prejudice an inherited characteristic, or is it a form of behavior learned from society?
Every society has its culture and its own cultural biases. People tend to make judgements by reference to the values shared in the subject's own ethnic group, as if it were the center of everything.
People share their own society's preferences for particular skin colours, or class and this may cause the unfavorable treatment of outsiders. For example, in the United States, some whites look down on blacks, and other ethnic groups like Chinese, because their own philosophy says that whites are the best and have the right to live, while others do not deserve to live. So, this philosophy created a thought in the white mind that the ethnic minority is to blame for the social and economic problems they suffer from Moreover, this philosophy created racial hatred between whites and other ethnic groups. Therefore, they try to avoid contacting with these groups and even try to eliminate them.
A good example of this introduction is a film called "American History X"...
