Safety Considerations and Checklist
1) Assign a scene safety officer
2) Access may be on a single line with self belay this will allow quick access of the victim in need of medical treatment
3) Raising and lowering systems must be on a two line system, one line will be the main line the other the belay line
4) All personnel within 10’ of the edge will wear a helmet and harness and be attached to a safety line

2) Identify command post location
3) Identify incident priorities
4) Develop a plan and assign teams to objectives
5) Develop back-up plan in the event of failed first plan
B) Evacuation/Transportation
1) Package and stabilize pt.
