A piercing story
(If your daughter wants to do that, please persuade her)
People love beauty, especially the young girls, that is very nature and understandable.
But what is beauty, or what kind of beauty could be accepted by most people, is concerned and discussed a lot. Besides everything else, there is a bottom line to the beauty, i.e. not hurt your body and health.
According to the piercing story happened to Carla McPhie, you can realize that there is a scared and not evadible fact that in some situation a hurt and even a calamity caused by piercing does happen.
Carla McPhie was happy even after had her tongue pierced. But months later, the disease happened to the girl, she got a brain infection which caused directly by a silver barbell via her pierced tongue. It may cost her whole life unfortunately.
I do have a lovely daughter who is 6 now; it maybe bit early for her to think about something like piercing...
