The truth About Truth
Answers If You Please. While sitting in their planetariums, gazing up at the stars, Astronomers use mathematical equations to hypothesize how the earth came to be. On the other end of the scale, sitting in Museums and University classrooms, gazing up to the Heavens, Christian and Jewish Theologians use faith to hypothesize how the Bible came to be. Since the beginning of time, or at least the beginning of Monotheism, persists and patrons have searched for the truth on God. The roots of the Bible grow from the Old Testament. But do Christians and Jews have different versions of the Truth? Who is deceiving who?
In this essay I will examine the origins of the Old Testament in regards to the Masoretic Text, The Septuagint, and the best evidence that may lead to the Truth the Dead Sea Scrolls. In addition, I will describe the great political and literal battle fought over the past 50 years in order to unveil the mysteries that the Scrolls hold in regards to the Bible. I would like to note although this essay is written from a Christian American point of view, the body is composed primarily of limited facts and not my personal opinions...
