A Time To Hunt Werewolves are destructive creatures that live on temper and violence. They spend most of their time hunting, fighting, and killing each other as well as humans. Each werewolf pack has either a good leader or a bad one. The good leaders are always looking out for the well-being of the whole pack and defending them, then there’s the bad leaders that are bloodthirsty, only concerned with themselves and what they want, and don’t care about the rest of the pack. This can all be seen or read in the novel Bitten written by Kelley Armstrong and in the movie “An American Werewolf in Paris” directed by Anthony Waller. The theme of the book and movie is good vs. evil, or werewolf vs. werewolf. In both you have werewolves violently killing anyone or thing that gets in their way and aren’t afraid to do it. Both of these stories show the typical werewolf and what it’s like to live the dangerous, sadistic life of a werewolf. Each pack in both the novel and the movie has their leaders. First, there’s Jeremy Danvers and Daniel Santos who are two leaders in Bitten. Jeremy is a good leader who uses his brains and not his fists. When he speaks he is obeyed and is always looking out for the security of the pack. Whenever things get more physical, Jeremy has his foster son, Clayton Danvers to do the dirty work. Clayton has a violent temper and is known as, “the local psychopath,” (Kelley Armstrong). However, Daniel is not like Jeremy.
