People of the Public,
I, a poor Indonesian girl have important and urgent information to share with you today. This is regard to labor abuses that have been taking toll of our lives (poor people) for years every since 1970. In the 1970's, the world has entered a period called globalization. This is an economic, political, cultural, and geographic process where the mobility of a capital, organization, and people taking on a transnational form. What this means to us, is that everything became more intensive and extensive for the companies to handle. This also means that labor abuses worsens and intensified.
I am a victim of this globalization. I used to work in the Nike factory. Everyone in here at least have own a pair of Nike sneakers, am I correct? Well, every time you wear the sneakers, you will probably start to feel discomfort...
