In this episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, the show starts with Raymond being asked by his mother to bring his older brother Robert to Cooperstown so Robert can get an autograph from the Hall of Fame's 1969 New York Mets. At first Raymond says no because he just wants to get his story for the paper that he works for. After much nagging though, Raymond reluctantly agrees only because he feels that he must do this since it is his brother.
Upon arriving to Cooperstown Raymond and Robert discover that the news reporters were supposed to arrive the day before, and that the day they arrived was for the public to meet the Mets. After many attempts to see and talk to these players Raymond finally makes the security guards angry enough to kick them out of the stadium. This does not go over well with the two brothers, because Raymond feels that Robert hindered his ability to work and retrieve his story, and Robert feels neglected because Raymond was not willing to wait for him to be able to get an autograph from his idols.
This sends the two distraught brothers home in their misery. After a while as siblings will do they start to play pranks on each other to sort of get back at the other one for ruining his day. Without realizing it Raymond speeds 15 miles over the speed limit, thus causing them to get pulled over...
