	Introduction to Research For most people, learning to speak another language is a great challenge. However, learning to write in a different language can sometimes be an even greater challenge. This is the situation I found myself in when starting college. I was born and raised speaking Spanish, but had to learn the English language and how to write English was a great challenge I had to face and overcome. The process of writing in English is a little different from Spanish. Therefore, the most significant problem that I encountered while learning to write in English was how to transfer my ideas from Spanish into English in an organized fashion. Since I speak Spanish, I think in Spanish, and transferring ideas from Spanish into English was a difficult task for me.
