Do you know who your enemy is? Do you trust your fellow man? You shouldn't. The
Roman philosopher Cicero once said "man is his own worst enemy". Our history of
warfare, environment problems and terrorism has proven that, unlike most creatures who
fight different creatures, we have sealed our own fate; we are our own worst enemy.
Quite possibly the most devastating proof that we are our own worst enemy is our
history of warfare. In world war 2, the evil dictator Hitler led thousands of German troops
to kill and torture Jews and many other ethnic groups who were not on Hitler's 'list' of
what should be considered to live and what should not. What drove the Germans to listen
to and support this madman? At the end of world war 1, the Treaty of Versailles put all
the fault of the war on Germany; and left Germany a poor and weak nation. The Germans
wanted to prove to the world that they weren't weak and that they can take control...
