Introduction
The story revealed information about the tannery dumping chemicals into ditches on the property. As a result, the chemicals flowed into the bodies of water and eventually flowed into the water supplies for the town of Woburn. The tannery also had the drums hauled off with dump trucks during off hours so no one would notice. This was a very unethical act of business. They did not want to get caught with the toxic waste on their property.
W. R. Grace Company could have taken safety measures to properly dispose of the toxic waste. The storage containers could have been better to prevent the leakage and spillage of the poisons. This would have eliminated them from being involved in this unethical practice...
