“Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails”. (1 Corinthians 13: 4 –8) What splendor! The very definition of how love should be right at our fingertips. However, in today’s society does this love exist? We share love for all people, but is it in this perfect way? Love is an emotion that employs powerful connotations, but do we love everyone in the same way? Of course we don't. How then does love differ from person to person? The first love we will examine is Eros love or love at first sight. One day Steve was sitting down at his favorite restaurant preparing to indulge in his favorite meal, steak and potatoes. Steve was a very successful doctor who seized every opportunity he could to visit his restaurant sanctuary when he was not doing triple bypass surgeries. Steve is a very busy man, with medicine always on his mind, a perfectionist if you will. One evening while sitting down to his meal, anticipating his steak, commotion breaks out a few tables behind him. Curiosity grabbed Steve like a lion captures its prey. As Steve made his way through the crowd he notice a woman lying lifelessly on the floor by her chair, she had choked on her dinner. Steve stood over her completely still. People began shouting, “CALL 911” and “ PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP HER”.
