Renting vs. Owning A Home
Everyone who has somewhere to live probably has either a rent or mortgage payment each month. Some people decide whether to rent or buy a home, others have no choice. Many people have no choice because they either don't have the money to pay a mortgage payment or there are these who don't have enough credit to obtain a loan for a house. On the other hand, some people would just prefer to rent rather than own. There are many pros and cons to renting and owning: cost, maintenance, and satisfaction.
For most, the main factor when determining weather to rent or buy is the cost. Normally the cost for buying one's own home is double what the cost of renting is. Not only are the monthly payments of owning ones own home more, but there are also other costs that one doesn't have with renting.
