Moral education can be a topic that has many sides and many different outlooks. In the classroom I was against moral education in my debate group. Yet, after I researched it I have changed my point of view. I am for moral education for many reasons. Many children spend more time with their teachers than they do with their parents. In the twenty first century both parents are working and the children are often left home alone when they get home from school. Teachers have become role models to the students and teaching should not end in the classroom. Teachers should instill morals, values, and manners so that leaving the class room the student is well rounded.
