Throughout human history, empires all over the world have risen and fallen from power. Most of these empires have had their own unique culture and religion, which they introduced to the places they conquered. Another way one can identify empires is by they way they cam to power or how they fell form power, most rises to power are unique while the falls from power all have similar characteristics. By comparing and contrasting the rise, fall, and culture of the Mongol Empire to the Roman Empire, the differences between an empire hat has succeeded over a long period of time, and a short lived empire that covered a vast region of the world become apparent.
The rise of the Mongol Empire came with its unification, whereas the rise of the Roman Empire was a change in political power. Before the year 1200C.E., the Mongol empire was a collection of around two million people living in 30 different tribes.
