CASE STUDY OF MAGNETIC LEVITATION TRAIN
STUDENT NAME MOCHARLA KIRAN KUMAR
STUDENT ID 999-01-9098
Problem Restatement & Observations:
The case is about the magnetic levitation train. There is an existing MAGNLEV train in Japan, France, Germany, and UK. This case studies the possibilities of establishing a MAGNLEV in the Texas region.
Analysis:
Magnetic Levitation Train: A train that could move at speeds above 500 Kilometers per Hour, using the principles of magnetic repulsion. Superconductors are a concept by which the metals become extremely conductive at very low temperatures. Superconductors give cost efficient, fusion power, and low cost electrical power. This is being accomplished with alloys. Superconductors could be used to lift, guide, and propel the train forward. These trains would be pollution free, extremely quiet and could reach speeds much greater than normal conventional trains.
The following case report analyses the feasibility of Magnetic Levitation Trains in the Texas (USA)...
