Violence has become more rapid among our youth today than we have ever had. After the killing of eight year old Chelsea Cromartie, Pastor Willie F. Wilson had a vision to cancel the annual event of Unifest to Uni-Love. For the past 21 years Unifest has been one the largest celebration of Washington's African American culture and history. Uni-Love came from the vision of Willie Wilson Pastor of Union Temple Baptist Church. Pastor Wilson said that enough was enough. He was calling on all Pastors of the community to come together for a day of atonement. Every 3 days a youth has been shot. There have been 45 murders of (young people) since January.
I believe the parents need to stop being in denial...
