Why should I be moral? -No I think the question should be, "Why shouldn't I be moral?"
The world is full of people, who think that farting in public is funny; now maybe when we were still eating our own boogers that was cool, but it shouldn't be so anymore.
And also around the corner store, from where I usually buy my toothpaste, is a guy whose breath makes the stench of early morning cat poop smell like Hugo Boss (most probably because of an all-night drinking spree with the other "Siga's")
Also let's not forget about the LTO office clerk who openly and shamelessly accepts bribe money from the guy who was in line, just in front of you We are far beyond the time of savagery, and Human ethics have been established way before the birth of Christ. Yet we continue on with our reckless abandon, and butcher the purpose of our creation, which is to be the highest form of creation and to govern wisely over fellow creation Maintaining proper hygiene is one thing but an outright display of untruthfulness in a court of law is awfully unrelenting.
These are just a few of the things that knock the crap out of me, how could these people endure their idiocracies? I mean, it isn't required to have a superior IQ or a good knowledge of religion to know that it's wrong and ultimately foolish to have a shouting match with a neighbor just a few inches away from you, when all you're really talking about is the latest "tsismis" about DaoMingwho and his other flower buddies. If they could only hear and see themselves, then they would know how STUPID they look. Being moral doesn't necessarily mean being good or doing nice things all the time, sometimes just the minor things like being considerate of other persons' personal space or washing your hands after going to the bathroom and walking quietly at corridors, this shows that you were taught manners. Because anyway you look at it, no matter what religion or even sect you belong to, being moral or ethical is directly parallel to how you were brought up at home...
